Goodbye Veepees

Its been a long project and the next one is undoubtedly going to be twice as difficult, however, im still sad to actually be finally finished with Veepees.
I learned alot of amazing new techniques, which i focused on hopefully through this blog and in the below final renders. Of course i now have to choose at most three to display on a final board. I know i want to show a full veepees and room shot, focused in on one of my biggest achievements (glass, cloth or glow) and a very emotive shot, ie, lightening or shadows and creepy spider legs should be major chill factors.
I will hopefully bring skills learned in this project and develop them further or use them as stepping stones to even bigger better 3D techniques i havent experimented with yet. Im very excited to move on from Veepees and im very proud of the final renders.... however i wish id given the project even more time, and made it extremely professional.
Im glad i stuck close to the childs imaginative drawing and developed it as a proper character rather than using it as a stepping stone to a different character with a completely different emotive design, it made things slightly more complicated and interesting.
