Frankenstein is a very well known book thats had many adaption, and is probably one of the first proper science fiction pieces of literature, its about a man playing god and creating life, ie. doing the unthinkable and angering society.
Its a dark twisted tale of how he creates a creature that is looked upon as grotesque, sounding familar ?
Veepees is extremely inspired by Mary Shelleys Frankenstein.
Elements in the book that ive tried to incorporate into Veepees and take inspiration from would be the lightening (a turning point in the book, when lightening hits a tree and Frankenstein gets his idea)
Society's views and hatred of something another loves.
The Loneliness and constant want for something bigger, to play god and constantly improve on ones self and others in a unique way that isnt always acceptable.
Now these seem like small things, but when added together they will give off many different emotions to each viewer and hopefully give chills in the end.
